Outline about my life.

I. In the 18 years that I have lived I learnt from my mistakes and I have laughed as much as I have cried. Therefore my life has been a complete learning.

IV. My life has had good and bad moments but all of these have formed me as a person. I'm still learning from my mistakes until the day of my death.

Differences between Punk music and Classical music.

Actually, various types of music exist. According to our tastes we can hear, pop, rock, latin music, electronic music... but there are a lot of differences between one style and another. In this entry I am going to talk about the characteristic of punk music and classical music.

Punk music is always related with electric guitars, drums... and most of the times a singer who sings with a spoilt loud voice. The members of this type of bands usually wear eccentric clothes with breakings, and they often go make up. Also we can found members with a strange haircut and with an attitude more like anti-sistem. This kind of music was a created as a way of protest when something, in society where they lived or live, does not like to them. Because of this reason in their songs sometimes we find criticism.

However, we can say that classical music is nothing like punk music. Instead of electric guitars and drums, musicians usually play another type of instruments such as violins, trumpets, pianos, cellos... Also this music do not need a singer but only with instruments they can create a song. In concerts, instead of wearing strange clothes they prefer wearing suits and formal wear. This music was created centuries ago, and it has important representatives as Mozart, Beethoven... 

 

Music as a universal language.

Many times music can transmit us beautiful messages that we should listen in order to improve ourself as a people.In other entries, I have talked about problems that are happening in the world and I think that a good way to express it is gathering all of them in a song that it is recognized around the world: Earth song, with the lyrics.

Problem-Solution Paragraph

Problem: In these moments there are a lot of people that are dying because of hunger. This fact is happening in many countries, especially in Africa. And this problem,I think is the biggest problem of our centur. Governments don't do anything to solve it because they don't want to, so poverty is caused by greed. I can't understand how people can live with lots of money while others dying because they don't have anything, it's horrible.


Solution: There are solutions to this problem. One solution is sharing, among poor countries, part of the resources that rich countries have. Thus, we would have equal countries.Other solution would be give money to homeless or people who need it. And the most important thing: greed must disappear because each person is important.

Opinion paragraph - Animals.

We should respect animals because their life and our life have the same value. There are much suffer around them. People do not treat well animals, they mistreat and killed them because they think that animals are not so important as people, but they are alives and have feelings and it's so sad that this fact happens in these days. We live in a society where animals are used as a instruments to fun us. We see shows in travelling circus where the animals are supposedly trained but we don't ask to ourselves how people train them. I have the answer: with punishment and suffering. They hit them until the animal do what people want and it is horrible. And there are a lot of ways like that to make them suffer, for example in our country there is a stupid tradition which is awful, bullfighting. I will never respect a tradition which make an animal suffer, never. Therefore I don't repect people who enjoy seeing this "show" because I would be accomplice of this fact. So we have to learn about other countries where animals are more respected than here and where there are laws which protect them, because they deserve it.

Describe someone: My mother.

My mother is the best person I know. Physically, she's as tall as me. He has curly brown hair, she looks like she has less age as she really got.
She's a nice person, so generous and sensitive. She respects all people and she doesn't has prejudices. She always treat me well. I can talk with her about everything because she understands me and trusts me. I think that I have much luck with her because I know a lot of people that have much problems with their mothers and fathers.
I have to say that she's  my role model, because in the future I want to educate my sons like she has educated me.

Feelings about Guernica.

Guernica was painted by Picasso. This painting makes me feel horror, fear, it makes me think what people lived when the bombs fell in the town. I see dead bodies and people screaming. People that tried to save their children and theirselves. It makes me think how unfair is war. Innocent people who payed for others that were so guilty. I suffer seeing this picture because it has much impact on me. I can see a country falling because of war.
Spain has recovered but in other countries the war still happening, so it's very sad. I think that governments should help to end with these conflicts but sorrowfully they aren't interested in solve this problem.

Hello! In this new entry I'm going to introduce myself.

 I'm senventeen years old and my birthday is on November. This is my first year at the university and I'm at the degree of English Studies because I love the language.

In my free time I like listening to music, especially rock music. My favourite groups are Ac/dc, Metallica, Guns n' Roses, Scorpions... but my favourite singer is Michael Jackson. 

I love animals because they are innocents, beautiful and more grateful than people. A few years ago I wanted to be veterinary but I discovered that I didn't really like the sciences.

About my aspirations, my dreams, I want to become in a book translator because books are fantastic, you can imagine other realities, and live the life of another person. Although you can learn vocabulary and ways to express yourself. It´s a new world and I really like it.

I like writing too but I don´t do it usually because I need inspiration, so I've written a few times.

I have great expectations and I expect increase my level of English.

Hi, everyone! I'm Anabel and I've created this blog for my class of Writing Practice. The last week we had the first class, and we were learning how to make a text correctly. The teacher taught us the base of the subject, like how to choose a topic for a paragraph or the brainstorming.
There are three ways of brainstorming: making a list, freewriting and mapping. We practised all, and for me, the more useful is making a list, because you can gather all the ideas in an organized way. So, for my futures writings I'll use that.
